La Petite Epicerie
La Petite Epicerie was founded in France in 2011 by Laura Nicoulaud and Mederic Mille, who met while studying art and design. What began as a student side hustle selling surplus polymer clay online quickly grew into a thriving creative business after their first products sold out within a week. Inspired by the tiny clay fruits and vegetables that launched the company, they named it La Petite Epicerie - French for "the little grocery store" - reflecting their vision of a place filled with creative treasures for makers of all kinds.
Today, La Petite Épicerie has grown into one of France's leading DIY brands, offering more than 10,000 creative products and an ever-growing range of beautifully designed craft kits. From soap making and jewellery making to paint by numbers, embroidery and paper crafts, every kit is thoughtfully assembled to make creativity accessible and enjoyable. The brand also partners with a sheltered ESAT workshop in France, helping provide meaningful employment for people with disabilities while producing many of its signature kits.
