Featuring three different laser-cut cottage designs, this paint-your-own kit lets you create a colourful miniature village for your herb garden, flower pots or indoor plant display.

Everything you need is included, with three smooth MDF plant stakes, 12 acrylic paint colours and two paintbrushes. The fast-drying paints can be mixed to create your own colour palette and clean up easily with soap and water, making this an approachable painting project for beginners and experienced crafters alike. Once finished, simply tuck the cottages into your favourite plant pots or give the completed set as a cheerful housewarming gift. To help protect your finished cottages from moisture, seal every painted surface and exposed edge with water-based polyurethane, clear acrylic varnish or an outdoor-rated Mod Podge.

Founded by Army veteran and mum Anna-Barbara, known as Anna, DIY The Hell Not creates small-batch craft kits in her rural Pennsylvania workshop. Produced in limited runs rather than mass-produced, each project encourages you to experiment, embrace the occasional mistake and enjoy the wonderfully messy process of making something by hand.

We accept change of mind returns within 30 days of delivery, provided that:
