Nest Embirdery

Nest Embirdery was founded in 2020 by Carley Pettitt, a self-taught textile artist from Edmonton, Canada, with a background in zoology and wildlife conservation. Carley discovered embroidery as a way to calm her mind and manage anxiety, finding comfort in the simple, repetitive rhythm of stitching. What began as a creative outlet soon grew into a collection of hand embroidery kits inspired by the birds, insects and wildlife she loves, with 10% of profits donated to animal conservation.

Designed for beginners and experienced stitchers alike, Nest Embirdery kits include everything you need to bring each creature to life, including premium DMC threads, sustainably sourced beechwood hoops and clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Every kit also includes interesting facts about the featured animal, making each project a small celebration of nature, creativity and conservation.
