Paraffle
Based in Edinburgh, Paraffle is an independent craft brand founded by designer Sammy Bishop in 2016. After teaching herself embroidery as a creative outlet while completing her PhD, Sammy left academia to build a business centred on modern, approachable craft kits. The name Paraffle comes from an Old Scots word, meaning both embroidery and an ostentatious display.
Designed with beginners in mind, Paraffle’s embroidery kits and cross stitch kits feature playful contemporary designs with everything you need included. Sustainability runs throughout the collection, with organic, ethically sourced cotton, FSC-certified wooden hoops made in the UK and recycled packaging used wherever possible.
