The Australian Beeswax Thread Conditioner by Melbourne sewing brand SOHMO is a natural sewing essential designed to make hand stitching smoother and easier. Running your thread across the beeswax before sewing helps reduce tangles, knots and fraying while allowing the thread to pass more easily through fabric. Unlike some synthetic thread conditioners, pure beeswax won't yellow over time, making it particularly useful for heirloom sewing projects, embroidery and quilting.

This natural thread conditioner is ideal for hand sewing, embroidery, English paper piecing, quilting, beading, attaching buttons and everyday mending. A light coating of beeswax helps strengthen thread against friction and abrasion, improving its durability during stitching and everyday use. Unbleached and untreated, the beeswax retains its natural honey aroma and varies in colour from soft golden yellow to deep tan depending on the season. Each 26g block comes neatly packaged in a compact sliding-lid metal tin, making it easy to store in your sewing kit or take along to your next stitching project.
