Inspired by the tiny birds that brighten North American winters, the Chickadee Mini Embroidery Kit from Nest Embirdery captures a black-capped chickadee with its feathers fluffed against the cold. Stitched onto deep navy cotton, this textured bird embroidery design makes a thoughtful gift for bird lovers or a charming handmade addition to your home.

Suitable for beginners and experienced stitchers alike, this mini bird embroidery kit uses basic stitches and includes pre-stamped fabric to guide your design. With everything you need included, you can get started straight away using six full skeins of premium DMC embroidery thread, John James needles and a 10cm beechwood hoop. Digital instructions explain each step, while a bonus stick-and-stitch design gives you another little project to enjoy.

Created in Edmonton, Canada, by self-taught textile artist Carley Pettitt, Nest Embirdery combines a love of wildlife with the calming benefits of embroidery. Drawing on her background in zoology and animal conservation, Carley designs nature-inspired embroidery kits and donates 10% of profits to animal conservation.
