Celebrate the unmistakable style of Frida Kahlo with this Cut & Make Puppet Kit by Wini Tapp. Inspired by the celebrated Mexican artist, this creative paper craft kit reimagines Frida in a colourful illustrated outfit complete with floral details and her iconic look. Printed on robust FSC-certified 350gsm cardstock, the pieces are assembled with brass split pins to create a movable, articulated Frida Kahlo figure.

Enjoy the simple process of cutting out each illustrated piece before assembling and posing your finished paper puppet. At approximately 32cm tall, Frida makes a wonderfully unusual piece of art to display at home. Hang her directly on the wall or mount her in an A3 or 8 x 10 inch frame, choosing a standard frame or shadow box depending on the look you prefer.

Designed and made in England, Wini Tapp is the work of illustrator and educator Louise Burgess. The idea began with paper puppets Louise created for a children’s art workshop in Hastings, East Sussex, before evolving into a collection loved by children and adults alike. Louise continues to illustrate, print and package each design herself from her Hastings studio, including her playful Artist Series of famous artist paper puppets.
