Stitch, sew and stuff your own little woodland character with the Hedgehog Embroidery Kit by Kiriki Press. The finished hedgehog combines a sweet cream face and tiny pink hands and feet with rows of textured brown embroidery that recreate its distinctive spines. Rather than finishing in a hoop, your completed embroidery is assembled into a miniature soft doll to display or gift.

A Level 3 project, this hedgehog embroidery kit is suited to experienced stitchers and confident crafters looking for something with a little more detail. A combination of stitches creates the layered texture across the hedgehog's body, giving you plenty to work on as the design gradually takes shape. The pattern comes screen printed directly onto the cotton, so you can skip the transferring and get straight to stitching.

Everything required to make your embroidered hedgehog is supplied in the box. You'll receive DMC embroidery floss, hand screen printed cotton fabric, backing fabric, stuffing, a No. 9 embroidery needle and a 6-inch embroidery hoop, along with detailed instructions for stitching and assembling your finished doll.

Designed and made in Toronto, Canada, Kiriki Press specialises in imaginative DIY embroidery kits that blur the line between needlework and soft sculpture. Its animal designs are hand screen printed using water-based inks and include everything needed to take the project from the first stitch through to the finished character.
