Each tin contains 20 sharp, smooth needles across four useful sizes, giving you the flexibility to choose a finer or heavier needle depending on your fabric, thread and sewing project.

Sharps are one of the most versatile types of hand sewing needle, with a medium length, fine round eye and precise point designed to pass cleanly through woven fabrics. SOHMO's Japanese-made needles are crafted through ten precision manufacturing processes using nickel-plated steel, with a gold-plated eye for easier threading. The smooth finish helps the needle move through fabric without catching, while the assortment of sizes makes them suitable for everything from hemming and garment repairs to attaching buttons, hand-finishing seams, running stitch and detailed sewing.

Founded in Melbourne in 2018, SOHMO creates thoughtfully designed sewing tools for makers who value quality, practicality and good design. Founder Sonya Morris established the Australian brand after struggling to find well-made sewing essentials she genuinely enjoyed using.
