This woolly little character combines detailed embroidery with doll making, with layers of cream stitching creating the look of a textured fleece coat. Once the embroidery is complete, sew and stuff the printed fabric pieces to turn your handiwork into a freestanding miniature sheep doll.

This Level 3 embroidery kit is designed for experienced stitchers or anyone ready to tackle a more detailed project. The design uses a wider variety of embroidery techniques to build texture and dimension across the sheep's body, while the pattern is already screen printed onto the cotton fabric so there’s no need to trace or transfer the design before you begin.

Inside the kit you'll find everything required to complete your DIY sheep, including DMC embroidery floss, hand screen printed cotton fabric, backing fabric, stuffing, a No. 9 embroidery needle and a 6-inch embroidery hoop. Detailed instructions take you through both the embroidery and construction stages, with a full-size colour image to reference as you stitch.

Designed and made in Toronto, Canada, Kiriki Press creates contemporary embroidery kits that bring together traditional stitching, sewing and soft sculpture. Each distinctive animal design is screen printed by hand using vibrant water-based inks, ready to be transformed from flat fabric into a character of your own.
