Celebrate the colourful world of Yayoi Kusama with this Cut & Make Puppet Kit by Wini Tapp. Inspired by the Japanese contemporary artist and her instantly recognisable love of polka dots, this creative paper craft project lets you cut, assemble and pose your own illustrated Yayoi Kusama figure. Printed on robust FSC-certified 350gsm cardstock, the kit includes brass split pins to give the finished puppet movable arms and legs.

Follow the easy instructions to cut out each illustrated piece before joining them together to create your articulated paper puppet. Measuring approximately 32cm tall when complete, Yayoi can be hung as a playful decoration or turned into your own piece of framed art. Designed and made in England, Wini Tapp is the work of illustrator and educator Louise Burgess. The collection grew from paper puppets Louise originally created for a children’s art workshop, where their appeal quickly extended to the grown-ups too. From her studio in Hastings, East Sussex, Louise now illustrates, prints and packages her Artist Series by hand, reimagining celebrated artists as wonderfully characterful paper craft projects.
