Stitch a piece of Porto’s decorative heritage with the Fontainhas Portuguese Tile Needlepoint Kit by Unwind Studio. Inspired by an azulejo discovered in the Fontainhas neighbourhood, the blue and white pattern recreates the ornamental ceramic tiles associated with Portuguese architecture. The completed 19 x 19cm needlepoint can be framed as distinctive handmade wall art or kept as a creative souvenir of Portugal.

Designed to make needlepoint approachable for beginners, the 12-mesh Zweigart interlock canvas is printed with the full design for easy reference while stitching. Appletons tapestry wool, two size 18 needles, a colour mapping guide and detailed instructions are all included. Cotton bias tape protects the canvas edges and makes the project more comfortable to hold as you work.
