Bring one of modern art’s most influential figures to your craft table with the Pablo Picasso Cut & Make Puppet Kit by Wini Tapp. The Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker and ceramicist helped pioneer Cubism, transforming how artists represented people and objects through fragmented shapes and multiple viewpoints. His long career encompassed several distinct periods and an extraordinary range of styles, making Picasso one of the most recognisable artists of the 20th century.

This playful illustrated version of Picasso wears a red and white striped shirt beneath a bold suit filled with colourful faces, abstract lines and geometric forms. The individual puppet pieces are printed on sturdy FSC-certified 350gsm cardstock and joined using the supplied brass split pins.

Cut out each component and follow the clear assembly instructions to construct your own articulated Pablo Picasso paper puppet. Movable arms and legs allow the finished figure to be positioned in different poses. Measuring approximately 32cm tall once assembled, Picasso can be hung directly on a wall or mounted as an original piece of framed art. The puppet fits an A3 or 8 x 10 inch frame, with a shadow box offering additional room around the figure.

Based in Hastings, East Sussex, Wini Tapp was founded by illustrator and educator Louise Burgess. The collection evolved from paper puppets Louise designed for an art workshop, where they captured the attention of adults as well as children. She continues to illustrate, print and package each kit herself, creating distinctive paper craft projects inspired by famous artists and cultural personalities.
